Some clever photographers over at Priddy & Co made a fine catch late last week, as they snapped a few shots of what seems to be the prototype of the forthcoming Mitsubishi Evo X. Not much is known at this point, but the Evo X is said to go public for the 2008 model year and is built upon the GS platform (used by the Dodge Caliber).

This next-gen Evo will have over 300 horsepower and will have a major reduction in curb weight. Wait ... more power and less weight? Fantastic!
