Honda has plans for a new NSX model to hit the road, with two prototypes already being tested in Japan. The new model is equipped with the engine in front as opposed to the older NSX having a mid-mounted engine.

Honda has its sights set on going after the Ferrari F430, the Lamborghini Gallardo, and the upcoming Lexus supercar (yet to be named). The technological powerhouse is aimed to be screeching into showrooms during 2009. A 500hp V10 will rest beneath the hood, making sure the new NSX leaves no questions of its intent. Rail-riding handling in the NSX will likely be supplied by Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), making sure all the power connects to the ground without mistake.
