Toyota has announced the coming unveiling of its new FT-HS Supra-style hybrid super coupe. The unveiling is due to take place at this year's Tokyo Motor Show. Initial reports indicate that the car will be capable of 400 horsepower and 4 second climbs to the 60mph marker through the use of an electric supercharger (not a misprint). Much of the car's design components are said to come from the new (and pending) Lexus GT500. The petrol-electric car will feature a 2+2-seat layout, where the rear seats will be used to store the retractable hard top roof. It is expected to make a showing at the Detroit Auto Show later this year.
Below are several "Sneaky Pete" images taken from the test track. There is no solid confirmation on what the final visage will be. As you can see, the images from the test track differ from those in the conceptual rendering.
