Could this finally be a commuter car I would actually be seen in? Is it so hard to make something small and fuel efficient that looks cool? Ford doesn't seem to think so.

Now that the SUV craze seems to be coming to an end, it seems that automakers are certain that the next big thing will be ... well ... small. As a matter of fact, they are banking on it. With an array of tiny little cars shown at this years NAIAS in Detroit, Ford has taken it one step further and actually showed a small car that looks fun.

With Hybrid technology on the rise, it is about time that someone builds a hybrid that does not look like a hybrid.

With a 7.0 second estimated 0 to 60 time and 65 MPG fuel consumption, performance minded, environmentally conscience buyers can finally have their cake and eat it too.
