With the announcement that Lincoln will discontinue the LS after only 6 years, the latest buzz around town is that the LS will be replaced with the MKS concept car seen at the Detroit NAIAS.

Based on the Ford Five-Hundred platform, the replacement for the LS will no longer offer rear-wheel-drive but instead are offering up All-Wheel-Drive and a 6 speed automatic gearbox mated to a 4.4 Liter V8 good for 315 HP.

As a happy Lincoln LS owner I can honestly say that the MKS has some very large shoes to fill.
