Ford's Australian high-performance brand, Ford Performance Vehicles, has created a monster of a car line that brings Americans like yours truly to tears, because I can't buy one here.

These things are flat-out awesome. Check this stuff out: 5.4 DOHC, 388hp/383lb-ft, 14" front/13" rear Brembo brakes, manual or automatic (both 6 speeds), 19" wheels, all in a rear wheel drive four-door sedan.

Want yours in an intercooled, turbocharged, DOHC six with power specs nearly identical to the V8? (Nearly identical = more torque, less hp. Yeah, more torque.) Want either engine & tranny in a two-door car/pickup (remember the Ranchero)? Yeah, they got that.

I've never really thought about living in Australia before, but what the heck. Now, where did I put that Men at Work cd?
