With the rising demand for pickup trucks, more and more people are wanting performance variants of their favorite trucks.  Ford's Lightning was a huge hit during its time of production, and still commands a premium on the used market because of its ease of modification.  Once again, Roush has noticed a demand, and created a response, and in this case, has stolen the show from the other producers.   

Before we get you too attached to the Nitemare, we must warn you that it isn't for everyone.  Not because it isn't a great truck, but because only 100 are being built for sale.  It features the stock Ford 5.4 liter 3 valve V8 engine, however, in normal Roush style, a ROUSHcharger supercharger has been attached, forcing cold air into the engine creating 445 horsepower and an astounding 500 lb-ft of torque.  Ready to sign the papers?  Wait, there is more.  This truck features a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty.  Thats right, a 445 hp, fire-breathing, supercharged truck has a warranty that can be serviced at any Roush approved Ford dealership. 

The truck is available in any color you want, as long as it's black, and the wheels are large and chrome plated, giving the Nitemare an amazingly sleek look.  An optional bed cover and hood scoop are available, as well as a GPS system so that you know when to let off the accelerator to make your left turn. 

The Nitemare is sure to be quite the collector item, as we have seen many other limited edition vehicles bring in great money in the last few years.  If you want one, you better get to the dealership soon, as they are sure to disappear quickly.  With a price tag of just over 40,000 dollars, the truck almost seems reasonable considering the exclusivity.  Stay tuned to RPM Planets for more great sports trucks.
