Although I have always thought competition was a good thing. I personally cannot stand the fact that DMC will slap an SRT or HEMI badge on anything and everything.

DMC are so hot to capitalize on their past that they have muddied the waters.

They toss around once powerful names like it was no big deal and slap things like DAYTONA on the side a a pick-up truck. Then they toss some stickers on a 4-door Charger and call it SUPER BEE.

SVT is not on my list of favorites now either. They are not on anyones list right now. That would mean they had a single product out with the SVT badge on it. But they don't.

SVT Cobra? Nope, now it is the Shelby GT500
SVT Lightning? Nope, instead we get a Sport Trac called Adrenalin some day.
SVT Focus? Nope, but rumor has it that the SVT Fusion is in the works.

Where are you SVT?

Special Edition Mustangs are supposedly on the way. I fear that it may be too little too late though. By the time they hit the showrooms, DMC and GM will have the market saturated with SRT Caravans and SS Aveo.

SVT once welcomed competition. I never thought for a minute that it meant that they would roll over and get run over by it.
