The ionic pulse can almost be seen emanating from the Chevrolet Corvette C6 that Geiger Cars recently got their hands on. With the German firms application of the SC 524 Kompressor, the C6 is a veritable force to reckon with. The Vettes modifications include a supercharger, a water-cooled intercooler, a stainless steel high-performance manifold, a stainless steel exhaust system and other assorted upgrades.
All of these treatments get the C6 up to nearly 525 hp and about 470 lb-ft of torque. It is enough of a boost in performance to bring the 0 to 60 mph time down to a scorching 3.7 seconds! If the dash is not enough, then hang on for the rest of the ride; it rounds out at 202 mph, should the need arise.
Geigers offerings also include suspension and brake upgrades, as well as aesthetics (wheels, trim, etc) and tires. The full conversion setup (the whole car) will run a buyer about $105,000 or Geiger will massage a currently owned Corvette in the neighborhood of $30,000. |
