Since 1970, the Chevrolet Monte Carlo has been one of the best selling cars GM has offered. It had lots of success in Nascar and currently has the most race wins in Nascar history. It was first killed off in 1988 but then returned in 1995 as a front wheel drive model. |

You probably remember a bright green hot rod from SEMA 2006. It was wild, crazy, but most importantly, looked like it had been put together by one of the most talented show car builders in the world. The all new Foose Coupe, designed by the one and only Chip Foose, will go into a limited production of just 50 cars and will be sold by Unique Performance.

It's the news we've all been waiting for. After so much speculation, spy shots, and hype, the Corvette SS, or "Blue Devil" has been confirmed by Bob Lutz of General Motors. The SS, known as GMX245-SSC around the factory, will be debuted at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. |

By now, most Internet diggers have heard about and seen the 180 European cars from the 1980s. It's said that the owner of the warehouse (where the cars were found) shut down the facility and welded the doors shut some time in the early 1990s. Recently, he invited a classic car broker to come along with him to open up the doors. |

Mitsubishi Lancer Goes Diesel! Coming to an America Near You.
The North American International Auto-show is just passed, but the chatter about profit still looms in this country. Last we heard, the talk about some of the production plans for the Lancer in 2010 hinted at Mitsubishi scoping a new design of a 4-cylinder diesel to bring to its Lancer and Outlander SUV. |

Just when you thought the DaimlerChrysler had let all of the cats out of the bag (Dodge Challenger and Chrysler ME Four-twelve), Dodge has plans to officially unveil the Dodge Demon concept at the Geneva Auto Show next month. Poised to slay the Mazda MX-5, the Dodge Demon is a bit shorter than the MX-5, but it's also taller and heavier than its soon-to-be nemesis. Power is provided by the ever-reliable lineup of DCX's engines: a 1.8 liter I4, a 2.0 liter I4, the 2.4 liter (172 hp / 165 ft-lb) and a potential turbo 2.4 liter (rated at 300hp) that currently powers the Dodge Caliber SRT-4. Check out the official Press Release from Dodge as well as a shattering gallery of images, brought to you directly by RPM Planets. |

With a list of accomplishments the size of a small book, it is no surprise that a driver would have a special edition sports car named after him. Ron Fellows has played a key role in getting the Chevrolet Corvette to the point that it the world of sports cars. With the release of the fastest Corvette in the history of Chevrolet, the heads of the company felt it was time to honor Ron with a limited edition Corvette Z06. With only 399 cars planned, it is definitely a limited-edition car to get your hands on. |

Recently, I was able to have an up-close and personal encounter with a supercar I didn't expect to see at the Omaha Auto Show. I had heard rumors about this DaimlerChrysler supercar, but never expected to see the ME Four-Twelve out on tour, let alone on tour through the Midwest. It didn't seem to attract all that much attention during the press hours when I was there, but I'm sure as more and more people read the detail placard fastened to the rope fencing, the true enthusiasts were able to appreciate this car like fine wine. |

For those holding off on the Audi RS4 hardtop with hopes of feeling the wind in your hair, better go ahead and pick your coupe up. Rumors are coming out that Audi will not be releasing the convertible version of its brutal, vicious, and downright insane sports sedan, the RS4. |

It has been quite some time since Pontiac produced a car that created such excitement as the G8. The return of the GTO seemed as if it was going to bring Pontiac and GM back up to the top, but the somewhat lackluster looks reminded too many people of a Grand Am with a huge engine stuffed between the fenderwells. However, with its line of "G" cars, GM has slowly started picking up the pace with its Pontiac cars. The new G8 sports sedan, based on the Holden Commodore, is set to debut in showrooms this fall, and believe us, this car is going to sell like hotcakes.
