Audi A1 Announced for 2009

2009 Audi A1

Just recently, Audi confirmed a long-standing rumor of another car to be released in the A-series. The Audi A1 will be based on the on Volkswagen Golf, which is now the VW Polo, body style. Another portion of VW, SEAT, will be assisting in the production of this vehicle which is targeted to run about 16,000 Euros, or about 20,000 American dollars. The pricing shows that Audi is interested in getting younger drivers in their automobiles. Whether the A1 will come to the United States is still to be decided, but we should know more when the vehicle is discussed in detail in the near future.
