Fully custom carbon fiber and aluminum bodywork, twin turbocharged flat six engine making 700 horsepower, and a curb weight of only 3,086 lbs. Do I have your attention yet? The brand new CTR3 is the latest insane creation from the Germans at RUF. The Porsche tuner has been known for some amazing cars over the years, but this takes it to an all new level.
While it looks like a Cayman with new body panels, RUF claims that the body shape is their own creation. The enormous widebody panels cover the staggered 19 and 20 inch wheels. With a 335 rear tire, the CTR3 should have no trouble putting all 700 horsepower to the ground.
This brings us to the highlight of the CTR3. A flat six with twin KKK turbochargers and twin intercoolers launches the car to sixty miles per hour in a mere 3.2 seconds and continue at a blistering pace up to 235 mph. Yes, you read that correctly. 3.2 seconds. This car will out accelerate some of the fastest cars on the planet. However, what good is a car that can accelerate like that if it can't stop. RUF thought of this and installed 6 piston calipers and 15 inch brake rotors that are probably worth more than my Ford Mustang.
This fantastic car is truly one of the finest German masterpieces of all time. RUF will even build you one for a mere $510,000. However, with the performance, handling, and amazing engineering, the CTR3 seems to be worth the price. Stay tuned to RPM Planets for more info on this amazing car.
