Audi will have a “commemorative edition” honor set for the TT this year, the final year of production. It will be available on both the coupe and roadster, with an expected Spring arrival. To mark the occasion of the 99th Anniversary, Audi is set to produce 99 roadsters and 99 coupes.
The 3.2-liter V-6 will be placed into both cars, producing 250hp and 236ft-lbs of torque. Audi’s infamous six-speed Direct Shift Gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive system apply the power to the pavement for the TT. Bi-colored, 9-spoke 18” wheels will provide the footing for the special edition versions.
The Special Edition will also add such features as: unique paints (Misano Red, Ocean Blue, and Light Silver), an all black roof, and a supple black leather interior. Roadster versions will only be offered in Quartz Gray with a black power roof and an offset Amber Red leather interior. Should a driver forget the treasure he or she sits in, Audi will have engraved badges adorning both Special Edition TT’s, in plain sight, on the glove box.
