Rolls Royce has confirmed that they will indeed build a coupe and a convertible. These cars are based on the 100EX and 101EX concept cars first debuted at the 2004 Geneva Auto show.
Both cars will be using the 6.75-liter V12 engine and aluminum space frame construction from the Phaeton. The coupe will have rear-hinged "suicide doors".
The convertible and coupe will share some body panels and styling cues. Both of course will have the traditional Rolls Royce Grille. Expect to see the production version of the convertible at a major European auto show this fall.
These beautiful new cars will surely cost over $300,000. Well worth it for the jet setting Hollywood types looking for an upgrade over the Bentley Continental.
