The 2005 Audi RS 4 is one of my favorite new cars. All wheel drive and a 420hp V8. This coupled with a nice flat torque curve should prove to be an exciting car to thrash around your favorite twisty country road or better yet your local road course.
I would love to get my hands on one for my next High Performance Driving Experience event. In my neck of the woods we have had record rain fall and this would be the perfect tool to enjoy many laps of wet slippery good clean fun. Audis advanced all wheel drive system, locking center differential and big brakes are well suited for a spirited romp through your favorite back road or your local road course. This car is one of only a few Audis that stand apart from the more mundane offerings in their lineup. The last time I lusted for an Audi was the 2003 RS 6 with its twin turbo charged V8. It would have been better if Audi offered the RS 6 with a manual transmission. While this car had my attention for a while, it doesnt excite like the 2005 RS 4. The RS 4 with its 6 speed manual transmission, abundant power and 8250 rpm redline will give any lucky owner a smile every time they get behind the wheel. More Information and Photos of the RS 4 |
