As if 1,001 horsepower, 923 lb-ft of torque, a zero to sixty time of 3 seconds, and a top speed of over 250 miles per hour weren't enough, Bugatti is rumored to be planning a Sport version of its supercar, the Bugatti Veyron. The Bugatti Veyron Sport is set to dethrone its predecessor as the fastest production car ever made.

While it is all speculation, and the information at this point is small in quantity, one can only imagine Bugatti will utilize the same quad turbo W16 engine configuration that powers the normal Veyron. New turbochargers and added boost pressure will probably make up the 200 horsepower difference, as well as upgraded components in all other areas of the car to be sure the car can handle and stop with all that power.

If produced, the Veyron Sport is sure to bring Bugatti back (once again) into the headlines, and break more speed records as it does. Stay tuned to Planet Euro and RPM Planets for more news on the earth shattering Veyron Sport as it becomes available.
