Miss Maria Sharapova has one more line item to add to the resume: Land Rover SUV promotions. The 18 year old, Wimbledon title (2004) and 11 tournament title holder will be sporting one of the fine Land Rover SUVs as part of the agreement and will also attend several promotional events, including a VIP party in New York City this week.

After being named one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People, Miss Sharapova was the right candidate for the job. Her "determination and success", along with her glamorous and youthful image, were the catalytic ingredients for an ambassadorship for the renowned Land Rover brand.
