Brabus, as well-known German automobile tuner, has dubbed its latest monster the "Rocket". Aptly named, the car is based off the Mercedes CLS and has some significant statistics to back up the nomenclature. It recently recorded a 225.18 mph top speed on a test track in Nardo, Italy, screaming its way into the record books as the world's fastest street-legal sedan.

The incredible power comes from a twin-turbo, 6.2 liter V-12 engine and is well equipped to handle the heat with forged internal assembly, hot cams, a tuned intake and exhaust, large custom turbochargers, and a performance-tuned electronic control unit. So what's that bring us to? A grand figure of 730 hp and 973 lb-ft of torque. Incredible! A five-speed automatic transmission grapples this amazing force and a locking differential applies it to the rear wheels. Finally, the car is touched off with a height-adjustable suspension system, 19-inch rims, and ceramic front disc brakes with 12-piston calipers.
