2007 BMW 335i

Two new tidbits have been released from BMW recently--a coupe version of the latest 3 Series and the first turbocharged BMW being launched in 20 years--both in the same package. The 2007 BMW 335i coupe uses a turbocharged, 3.0 liter, inline six-cylinder mated to a six-speed gearbox to get from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. Not bad, considering the 300hp/300 lb.ft powerplant gets 3571 lbs up to speed in refined German fashion. A lowered roofline, sport-tuned suspension, and carefully configured turbo ensure this latest 3 Series release is no slouch when it comes to peak performance.
