When Porsche sets out to improve upon a model, there are probably no goals left unchecked when production starts. Let's take the new 911/GT3 for example: Lighter, faster, more stopping power, higher RPM limit. Oh and let us not forget the most important goal, the new GT3 is more civil than the model it replaces. The 996 GT3 was known to be a bit skittish on uneven pavement, especially when the vehicle was carrying any type of speed. Not so in the 997 GT3, as the guys from Road & Track discovered, the new car feels more sorted out and less likely to follow ruts on the highway. So if you find yourself in the market for a civilized 415HP at a reasonable price of 106,000 dollars, you should look into this car.
