Every child of the 80's at this moment is ripping off their couch cushions, scrounging up all the change they can find, trying to raise enough money to purchase their dream car. Knight Industries Two Thousand, or K.I.T.T, the star of the hit TV show Knight Rider, is up for sale for the low price of $149,995.
Driven by the dreamy German music sensation himself, David Hasselhoff, K.I.T.T featured a Hollywood embellished top speed of 300 miles per hour, a big surprise considering it was in fact a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. This is one of four cars used during the series, and was even used by Hasselhoff himself for close up shots. The car features oil slick and ejection seat buttons, but sadly, none will actually accomplish their intended purpose.
However, with the 25th anniversary of Knight Rider coming up, who can think of a cooler car to own than K.I.T.T. It is so choice, if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. Stay tuned to RPM Planets for more great icon cars.
