Ironhide Edition GMC 6500

Any child of the 80's, car nut, or just all around action enjoying person has surely seen Transformers by now.  The 2009 Chevy Camaro makes an appearance that is worth the price of admission just to hear it growl.  General Motors had a strong part in the creation of this movie, with most of the main character cars being GM products.  One such product was the huge GMC Topkick 6500 truck.  While it may seem a fantasy, buyers can now go to the dealership and pick up an Ironhide of their own.

The Monroe Truck company decided to gather up a few GMC 6500's to customize themselves.  They've replaced the stock front and rear bumpers with trick pieces from Road Armor, and a winch powerful enough to pull you out of any sticky situation.  Monroe also fits the truck with huge twin smokestacks to increase exhaust flow and decrease back pressure.  While they may be great for performance, they make the truck look absolutely demonic.  The 6500 Topkick truck is manly enough from the factory, but the Ironside package gives it a look mean enough to take your lunch money and give you a swirly too.  Huge black 20 inch wheels and mud tires are fitted to the hubs to raise the truck and give it better off road capabilities.

For the enthusiast that feels the need to own a Transformer of their own, Monroe Trucks is the place to go.  It has to be one of the meanest trucks on the road today, and will fill the void in any garage.  Stay tuned to RPM Planets for more Transformer's car specials.
