Typically making notable marks in the luxury and elegance sector, Chrysler Group has recently leapt in the direction of performance. First, they released the Crossfire and now, they have unveiled the Firepower concept. Performance and value are the primary objectives in this venture, and DMC has the best of their components rolled into this car.

firepower_engine.jpg Skillfully crafted, the Firepower explodes onto the pavement with the punch from the SRT 6.1-liter HEMI V8 and carves the corners with a Viper based chassis. The rear wheels are spun by a 5-speed automatic transmission with AutoStick®, ensuring luxury and sport are well blended. Time for 0 to 60 mph acceleration is expected to be less the 4.5 seconds while the top end is estimated to be 175 mph. The meat on the mixed wheels (19x12 front, 20x12 rear) is rated R; 275/35R19 and 335/30R20 are the respective sizes.

Eye-pleasing elegance starts with Ocean Deep Blue as the primary color, contrasted by Oyster leather and Behr Maple accents. Climate control, a premium audio system, leather covered sport seats, round out the numerous amenities. All in all, the Firepower “…provides luxury, refinement and sophistication blended elegantly with passion and performance” said Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President - Chrysler Group Design.
