The Trail Rated Jeep family is getting special marks to celebrate 65 years of taking the road less traveled. Jeep65 logos will adorn the interiors of the Commander, Grand Cherokee, Liberty and Wrangler. The exterior gets one badge applied on the front fender.
Each vehicle is issued in a monochromatic format (Jeep Green shown above) with lustrous chrome accents. Other available colors are: Light Khaki, Dark Khaki, Bright Silver, and Black.
"Since they were first mass produced in 1941, Jeep vehicles have gone on to become the authentic benchmark for off-road capability," said John Plecha, Director, Jeep Marketing and Product Planning, the Chrysler Group. "Jeep vehicles have mastered more terrain, lead more adventures and provided drivers more freedom than any other vehicle before or since. These 65th Anniversary Editions pay homage to the legend that is Jeep." |
