So you have everything. 1001 horsepower, four turbos, the fastest production car ever created, what else can you possibly need? How about a removable targa top for those nice Sunday morning drives? Well, Bugatti intends to meet the need with the upcoming Veyron model year.
Just recently, we reported that a Porsche 911 GT2 was seen driving around with its camoflauge on. Set to debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show this year, we expected to start seeing it out and about, but never expected it to be this breathtaking when it finally arrived.
We have written a few stories on the upcoming Jaguar XF concept car in the past year. We've been waiting and waiting for more information as to whether or not the car will see production, and it seems our cries have been answered. Jaguar recently issued a press release with information as to what engines will be available, and some exciting offerings popped up.
If an enthusiast were to wake up after a 20 year nap, and find himself in the showroom of a Porsche dealership, they would find themselves in the presence of some of the most well engineered performance vehicles ever created. It's like one grand slam after another with Porsche, and with the recent 911 redesign, the accompanying 911 Twin Turbo, and the awesome racetrack insprired GT3 and GT3 RS models. However, its latest concoction set to debut in Frankfurt, has recently been spotted on the streets of America. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the GT2 is back.
Simply amazing. There are no other words to describe this car.
Two hundred and fifty three miles per hour. Just stew on that for a
bit. The boys at Top Gear had the Bugatti Veyron on the street some time ago,
but couldn't realize its full potential for obvious legal reasons.
However, Volkswagen offered up their test track, of course Top Gear was
willing to put the Veyron to the test.
For some time now, we have been waiting on the performance version of the Audi S6 sedan. We've seen factory test cars with the distinct manufacturer applied camouflage applied, but for the first time, an RS6 was seen without the camo. With the success of the Audi RS4, the RS6 is sure to please.
The very cool, and yet very different F1-look-a-like, the Caparo T1, was recently filmed testing at a racetrack. The awesomely lightweight and nimble machine has an amazing tone, similar to that of, yep, you guessed it, an F1 car.
As if the stock Audi RS4 wasn't enough of an amazing car, as it proved by being named the car of the year for 2007, MTM has introduced its 535 hp version, the RS4 Clubsport for 2008. This car takes the word insane to an entirely new level. Audiworld took it for a test drive recently and now we get to see what it will do.
BMW has been making a splash in the sports sedan market lately with its 335i. The turbocharged coupe offers great performance and BMW luxury for a reasonable price. However, for some, the stock power rating just isn't enough. Here at RPM Planets, we understand that, as a matter of fact, we cant get enough power. Alpina, a reputable BMW tuner, comes to the rescue with its B3 Bi-Turbo edition 335i.
If you were
like most children, you spent at least a little time driving a go-cart. So you
will remember the first time you strapped yourself in, donned your helmet and
cracked a devious smile as the track worker told you which pedal was the gas
And you probably dont remember anything else he said.
